'00 Ranger, 3.0, manual.

Just changed EGR sens, TPS, AIC, alt, batt, coolant sending unit, and cleaned MAF. Idle was sticking at 3k for several seconds. Truck runs way better than it has for a long time now, but here's the stumper.

In 4th or 5th gear ONLY, every time, it acts like cruise is on for 10-15 seconds before dropping off. If I push clutch in, it just starts to ramp up, but senses the clutch and drops the acceleration. I can't reproduce this in 1,2, or 3rd.

This happens with the CC cable disconnected and the throttle cable is fine. No mechanical binding or broken parts. Because the clutch kills this acceleration, it has to be electronic? Any thoughts why only 4th and 5th??
