The injector may be "working" but not correctly. Switch it around with #5 or something and see if the problem follows.

ive just swaped it out with 2 different injectors to try and see if its not functioning properly but all 3 diff injectors get me same results.

Compression test on all 6 cylinders, remove all 6 spark plugs first, test on COLD engine
Test each cylinder and write down results, get an "average" for that compression gauge, with that battery, on that day

Just FYI, compression test should always be the first thing you do when there is a steady misfire
Most change spark plug, which is fine, but just swap it around from another cylinder for that test

Compression is Mechanical, no ifs, ands, or buts, black and white, no maybes
Once compression is taken off the table you can go ahead with confidence its a fuel or spark issue
If it IS a compression issue, then no wasted time, or MONEY, on non-fixes

Problem started yesterday and first thing this morning i did the compression test and everything came back fine there. Everything was within the 150 psi range and consistent threw out all 6 cylinders

Fuel rail clogged or injector has no ground pulse from computer

All injectors get 12v with key on, from the Red wire at each injector
The other color wire is the ground to open the injector, in 2001 each injector has a separate ground wire back to the computer, Sequential fuel injection
You can use a NOID light plugged into that injector, and then disable spark, crank engine over to see if computer is pulsing the ground, test another injector to test NOID light

If no pulse then wire to computer is broken, or computer is for that injector
In 2001 3.0l Injector 6 should have a light green/orange stripe wire that runs to pin 99 on computer's 104 pin connector
Pull off the computer connector
Turn on the key and with injector 6 still plugged in test for 12volt on pin 99, if no volts or low volts wire is bad, if you see 12v then computer is bad, assuming connector is not corroded, lol

Analog meter.......................maybe
Injector ground is in milliseconds so too fast for digital meter to show, might show 0.5volt with engine running, 0 volt engine off key on

A 12v test light may work, it will be dim so you need to have it shaded
Test light to battery positive and injector negative
Crank engine, or start it, a pulsing glow would be all thats seen

Ok so i have 12v power and continuity going to the injector both pos and neg. Does that mean computer bad? If so can i pull one out of a wrecker vehicle?

Injectors are only 14ohms so pass 12v or ground easily

Do you mean you have no Ground Pulse on the injectors 2 wires when engine is cranking or running?
If no pulse then yes computer can be swapped out but must match, and you will need to get Matching Keys with it so not an easy swap

Its more likely to be a wire issue than computer issue, did you test the wire from injector plug to pin 99 on computer?

2001 Computer will have PATS(passive anti-theft system) so it will only allow startup using Keys that have been programmed into it
Your current keys wouldn't work with another computer, keys would need to be added to the new/used computer memory
It can only be done in the vehicle
Mobile Locksmith can come out and do it
You can get and use Forscan software on a laptop/tablet and do it yourself, need the OBD2 to USB cable as well

Computer also needs to be from 2001 Ranger 3.0l or 2001 Mazda B3000, with matching transmission, i.e. manual or auto, 2WD or 4x4 doesn't matter
If you can get key(s) with computer also try to get ignition lock cylinder so you can just swap cylinders and use the new key

Im waiting on a light to test pulse but im getting a reading with a multi meter on both pos and neg with key turn. Theres continuity from the ecu plug to the injector as well. Im getting stumped

These motors are prone to having burnt valves. The easiest thing now to check for would be a compression test. remove all spark plugs, and do it on a cold motor . I checked YouTube and maybe even some AI
