dead dash
dead dash
my 2009 3.0wildtrak has just developed a wierd electrical fault ,
intermittantly the dash dies ,when i driving the guages and odeometer stop working
when i stop and turn ignition off then no power to starter(presumebly because of no power to the imobiliser key coil) ,unless i press the parking sensor switch in then all back on !,
trouble is i gotta wedge the switch in because its non latching but then everything is fine ,unless i select reverse on the manual gearbox which also kills the dash ,(i can hear a relay clicking in when selected)
i have a suspicion its the reversing sensor module thats dragging the voltage down ,
any ideas will be gratefully received
regards paul ,
