Engine sputter while accelerating

Okay Ive had this problem since about 6000 miles ago and havent had the money to put into it... FYI, Ive searched, I just dont know the correct terms to search for.

When I accelerate from a stop or while moving, the engine shakes very badly going from 1st to second gear. The entire truck shakes and I have to let off on the throttle a little to stop it from shaking. I lose almost all engine power when it does this and I have to accelerate slow and steady. When I gun it from a stop and just keep gunning it through 2nd gear, it loses about 75% of its power and slowly accelerates through 2nd gear. Then picks back up in 3rd gear. It doesn't happen in any other gear.

I've replaced the plugs and wires (double checked they're in the right spots), and coil pack. Replaced and then cleaned the MAF sensor, replaced the air filter and it has fresh oil in it every 3000 miles.

What is causing this? I'm stumped...

If it only does it in certain gears, its probably transmission related.

I was going to suggest it's MAF related, but I see you've
already replaced it.
Might be a bad TPS. They're easy to check if you have
a multimeter.

No codes , like a 030X misfire ? Could be a plugged injector.

Well my check engine light was on. I brought it to Advance and they said it was a misfire on two cylinders...I cant remember which ones. (Somehow I have a feeling that that is very important). So they told me it was either my plugs and wires or the coil pack. I replaced both and it still does it. Runnin'OnEmpty, how do I check the TPS is I dont have a multimeter? What does the TPS do?

Get the compression checked on those 2 cylinders.

when you say you replaced plugs, did you replace them after advance told you they could be bad.sometimes when replacing plugs the plug may get damaged from the socket wrench .

Do you remember what the codes were that they pulled from the computer? That would help a lot!
