I found out there is an ethanol station in Tallahassee (figures they should since its the capital). Filled up for 2.53 a gallon (10 cents cheaper than gas).

I just calculated my mileage to be 15.93mpg, which is pretty close to what I was getting before. I filled up again with e85 so I will see if the mileage gets any worse.

 

I've always heard that you won't get as good, but never put it in before, don't even think my truck is compatible.

 

Yea I was expecting to get a lot worse mileage than I did.

The truck seems to be running smoother as well.

 

It'll take a few tanks for you to really see what kind of mileage you will get long term. I like E85, it has a higher octane and makes my truck feel like it has a little more oomph to it.
