Intake coolant plugged. Should I fix it?

The previous owner of my Ranger cut and plugged the coolant line that runs to the intake. It may have been because of a leak, maybe in the hose, maybe in intake where the hose connects, I'm not sure.

I live in Michigan where we have pretty cold winters. Is this something I should try to fix? What happens if the intake takes longer to warm up? Is there something I need to be watching for and worrying about when it gets cold? Or will it just have some slightly worse emissions with a cold intake?

And if I do need to fix it, can anyone provide a picture of where it connects on the intake?

Here's some pics of the plugged hose:

Welcome to the forum

The 3.0l throttle body should have IN and OUT connectors for coolant flow, one is probably broken off, not a common issue but known issue.
Or throttle body was replaced with one that didn't have the pre-heater.
Both your heater hoses should have "T"s for this hook up but one hose may have been changed
Throttle body pre-heater was to prevent icing in cold weather, like pre-heated PCV Valves
Not strictly an emissions issue more of an operations issue, if you haven't noticed any Cold Weather driving issues then no need to change it.

Post #6 in this thread has picture of the two hose going to throttle body/IAC valve: https://www.ranger-forums.com/projec...rainer-136018/

These are NOT part of the cooling system, they used heated coolant but worked as a heater not a cooler.
