Knock knock, Please help

Lost oil pressure, and my 99 Ranger turned off running down the highway. Started back up but was making a bunch of upper end racket. Pulled the motor dropped the pan and noticed small/ very little metal particulate in the pan. Thought after 114,00 miles some metalic wear material would be normal. Here is the list of replacement parts:
Crank bearings, rod bearings, oil pump, oil pump drive, oil pan, pan gasket, rear main seal, clutch kit, cerp belt, water pump.

Started it up last Sat. noticed slight tick. Took it for a test drive and the tick turned into a knock. I drove about 200 miles on Monday and the knock is still present but seemed to lessen as it warms up and at highway speeds. The tick (sometimes Knock) is coming from the lower end. Sounds like it's trying to come through the oil pan.
Changed the oil on Sunday before my Monday trip, used the same filter as always. But a friend told me to try 10W40 instead of the 5W30.

I just dumped a bunch of money into this truck and would like any input in what/where the problem could be.

Thank you

With new bearings I'd stick with 5W30 oil.
Do a search for cam syncronizer on the forums. When they go bad you'll lose the oil pump drive.

I know, I kind of panicked because I needed my truck for work. It was a risk I was willing to take at the time because the only avail JY 3.0 FF had same mileage for $800.

Went back to the 5w30 today hoping for a miracle, but no noticable change in the knocking. OTRtech mentioned the cam syncro. it was replaced with the cam position sensor as part of the OP drive assembly. That got me thinking about the proper way to set the cam synchro with the #1 piston at TDC. I'll have to admidt this wasn't done when the new oil pump drive assy was installed. Could this be the cause of the knocking?
