Icon4 Knock sensor and tps sensor

I own a 2000 ford ranger, 3.0 v6

Tps senor went out, possible knock sensor has gone out also, could there be a fuse for either of these?

When my Tps sensor went out about a week later I have started hearing a small knock under the oil pan, I'm experiencing both slowness when accelerating and a knock, which can also be symptoms of a bad knock sensor, any opinions on this?

Also if those are not the cause for the knock, what could cause a knock sound to come from under the oil pan? you can only hear the knock from under the truck around the oil pan, no knock from the top of the engine, what would cause that noise? it can't be bearings right? they couldn't cause a knock could they?

Also to clarify, the knock is not loud, it's hearable, but you have to look for it if you get what I mean. and my engine is throwing a code but only for the tps sensor, could the tpc code override the knock sensor code?

My oil looks fine, I changed to 5w-20 which is what the engine says to use, but I have been using 5w-30 since I got the truck, I also put royal purple oil in it instead of my normal oil, it has a fresh top end rebuild.

No fuse, the TPS is a 5volt sensor so powered by the computers 5volt power supply
Most sensors use this and share the 5v wire

Knock sensor, if you have one, not all year 3.0ls did, it will also be 5volt, but its not connected with other sensors, it has 2 separate wires that run back to the computer and attach at pins 32 and 57

If your engine has a knock then yes, that will cause timing to advance and you will lose power, have to get rid of the knock
You could unplug the knock sensor, then unscrew it off the block, suspend it so its not touching any metal parts, and plug it back in, may or may not work, but would at least get some power back if thats the issue

Would the knock sensor be the sensor sitting above the crankshafts wheel? (do not know the proper term sorry) I assumed that was my knock sensor. but maybe it is a position sensor of some sort.

No, thats the Crank sensor

Knock sensor, IF you have one, will be on passenger side of block/engine just above oil pan, look around by the motor mount on that side

Sensor itself looks like this: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....twomL._AC_.jpg

Has a bolt thru the center holding it on to block, no oil or coolant will come out if you remove that bolt

When my crank sensor went bad I heard a knocking in my engine bay. I did not have a code.
I had dropped it when I changed my timing gasket so I figured I broke it.
