Can someone tell me when I知 looking at as far as this broken wire
Welcome to the forum
That's the Knock sensor wires and connector

If you can fix the wires do so, knock sensors rarely fail, but those wire do on the 4.0l SOHC
You need it to run Regular gas, or engine will ping/knock
You should have one of these codes:
P0325 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Malfunction (Bank I or Single Sensor)
P0326 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
P0327 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input (Bank I or Single Sensor)
P0328 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit High Input (Bank I or Single Sensor)
P0329 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Intermittent (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)

Could an exhaust leak at my header flange result in the p0325 code? I've had one since I got my exhaust worked on for the second time, towards the end of my exhaust he allowed the pipe to slightly rub on my frame somewhere and it looks like the part of where my pipe meets one of my header flanges looks a little flattened causing what seems to be a leak. The wires for my knock sensor aren't broken but they don't look great.
I know old thread...
