Oil Pan Leak.....Serious advice only please?
After parking the truck in the garage for 2 days, i came out to a WET puddle the size of a steering wheel, over a quart.
I cleaned the pan and after pouring the 3rd quart in, noticed the oil bleeding through the pan about 2-3 inches above the drain plug, so i have a nice hole in the pan.
after 5 minutes, i had leaked a baseball size puddle already.
how much do you have to lift the motor/tranny to remove the pan? 6 inches? 2 feet?
after a day, i will be losing 2 quarts easily.
thank god this is vehicle is basically parked til winter.

your kidding right?
if you can not pull the motor yourself or pay someone 8-10 hours of labor to do it for you then just sell it.
the facts are this, the oil pan is rusted out, putting JB weld on it is not going to fix it.
sorry ford made crappy tins in the late 80's to mid 90's
