Oil pressure sensor issues?

Hello,

When my 2002 Ranger with the 3.0 L engine is warm, and been running for a while, the Oil pressure sensor will wig-wag at idle between it's normal spot around halfway on the dial and 25%. The speed at which it twitched varies between stops, and sometimes it wont do it at all. Any ideas what this could be? Once I give any gas it will stay steady.

The video I have linked here shows exactly what it does. It will vary from about this much and sometimes it will go a bit further down.

Thanks :)

Replace oil pressure switch

Its on the block behind passenger side head, so look down between head and firewall to see it
