so this will not fit in my 05? it looks close to the same so idk i have already emailed the seller on ebay so i can pick up instead of S&H but i don't know if it will fit

 

On the 05 your Mass air housing is part of the air box.So to answer your "Q" no it will not work without a new MAF housing.
I have a 05 and would like a CAI.Any ideas?
I gutted the air box,but I doubt this does much because the MAF housing is so small that it's got to be restictive.

 

i just cheack at work the part number for a stock box is the same for a 04 and a 05 dose that make a diff with this box

ok i found the part# i used but the base was too long so i had to cut it down a bit

took a real long time....not having a charged drill and being forced to use my lil dremel
but oh man
top end sounds freakin mean
i love it
too bad the cops here are always chillin on most streets around me lol
glad i bought it though

 

ya i love mine dont get on it much any more with these gas prices
