i just changed the plugs on my 2000 ford ranger it has the 3.0 v6 motor
one side plugs was dry and the driver side plugs all were damp and you could smell gas. just wanted to know what could cause this. it does have a miss when running. not bad but you can feel it when it idles thanks

Could have a leaking injector on that side, but that should only effect 1 cylinder, having 3 leaking on the same side would be, well a very long shot.
On a 2000 there will be a Pulse damper on the end of the fuel rail, it will have a vacuum hose attached, check that hose for gas or smell of gas, replace damper if gas is found

Should be on passenger side of engine, find the Fuel Rail(where fuel injectors hook up).
Follow it back towards the firewall, pulse damper should be at the end of the rail.
Pulse damper is just a rubber diaphragm that absorbs pulse waves cause by injectors opening and closing at high fuel pressure, 65psi.
Vacuum line is there for safety reasons, if diaphragm should leak fuel could end up on hot engine or exhaust pipe.
