Truck Wouldnt start, then did...

ok so i was at work this morning and we ended up not working because its raining so hard, so i go to start my truck and nothing... try again, nothing... i get out of my truck and as soon as i take my foot off the brake i hear this really quick clicking sound, when i put my foot back on the brake it goes away...

so i try to start my truck like 5 times and give up...pop the hood and my battery is still 'green' so wtf, i get back in and it starts to turn over, try again and it starts....

any ideas? is my starter going?

Almost sounds like its rain related, like something got wet and the clicking could be electriciy arcing? Idk i know its a long shot, but i've had problems before when stuff gets wet.

Sounds more like bad battery cable connection.

My Focus I used to have did that. The relay that turns on the fuel pump was bad.

check your grounds, check the connections going to the batter. Not just to make sure they are tight but check the battery terminals to the actual cables.

Mine did that when the battery ground got corroded (the ground to the chassis, not at the battery).

Its a foot away from the battery on the front of the truck, its seriously right there. Right behind the headlight.
