Exhaust Question

Exhaust Question
I have a flowmaster 40 to put on my 3.0, but can't afford duel pipes. I was thinking of either dumping it with 2 turndowns, running it out the side, duals again, or getting 2 stock oem tailpipes (needs replaced anyhow) and cutting the bend off the end, throwing some tips on it and have "dual" exhaust that exits right beside each other. I don't really like the sound of the 3.0 with a 40 single in single out. I like the sound of single in dual out. Any suggestions would be greatly appricated.

ok I have a flow master 40. I've done the single out, yes it does suck. Not loud enough. As for the dual dumped, bad idea. Way to loud inside the cab, it will give you a headache driving on the highway. I have a single dumped and its not bad at all. But right now I think I'm going to go and do the dual side exit.

best bet is just to wait and save up until you can run duals the way you REALLY want because you wont be happy with the result.. for me i ran my pipes out at a 45 degree angle out the back.. straight out the back is what everyone does, kinda boring ..the exit in front of the passenger side tire would be cool, couple people have it here and it looks fine. and it will be louder i think due to less pipe being used.
