Hey everyone. New to this forum, but I have a few questions. Ive been a mechanic for 20 years now, and never been as stumped as I am now, lol. I'm helping a 60 year old disabled veteran friend of mine get his 96 Ranger back on the road. Poor guy got ripped off on this truck and it has been a nightmare to fix. I replaced the valve cover gaskets due to a serious oil leak, intake manifold plenum gasket, alternator voltage regulator and brushes and both electrical connectors, a new serpentine belt, and complete drum brake replacement as well as the intermediate and rear steel brake lines. I fired it up and it cuts off when it tries to idle at low speeds, but will run if I am pressing the gas pedal a little. I cleaned out the intake manifold of all oil blowback as well as the throttle body and the mass air flow sensor. I am getting codes P0141, P0155, and P1000. I've also replaced the IAC valve, PCV valve, and the upstream O2 sensor for bank 2. I checked fuel pressure and double checked my connector splices and those seemed to be fine. I am stuck and need a little advice please.
