no oil on left head after head gaskets replaced.. manual gauge shows 45 lb spinning over with starter

 

I am not a 4.0 expert, but the gaskets are unique, and only go on a specific side. If you note below, the right gasket (top) is shaped identically to the left (bottom) though you'll note that coolant and oil gallery passages are not in the same place.

This may be the case, but there might be other ways to verify this first .​​​​​​​

are the valve covers off? if so on the right side with motor spinning where is the oil coming up from? valve train? and goes down through the heads. this is interesting.

 

What year 4.0l?

1990-2000 OHV?
2001-2011 SOHC?

 

I removed head all is good there.
