Hello,

I’m trying to identify this part and what it does. It is on a 1996 Ranger 4.0. It’s on the end of a cable that is connected to the throttle linkage along with the gas pedal cable. The pictured part is mounted on the passenger side right behind the windshield washer tank.

I believe that is the cruise control.
