Shop hours

Reasonable shop hours to replace thermostat housing and senors on 2004 model?

And reasonable shop hours to replace both valve cover gaskets?

Good read here on thermostat housing: https://howtoreplacefordthermostathousing.com/

Said it took him 6 hours first time, so make it 4-5 hours for Pro mechanic that has done it before

To do valve covers you also need to drain some coolant because you need to remove coolant hoses
Passenger side takes longer maybe 2.5 hours, drivers side 2 hours at the longest, depends on how easy EGR tube comes off

The Knock sensor wire connector is on the passenger side top edge of valve cover and its wires like to break, lol, PITA to repair as they are brittle

Looks like shop estimate of 6 hours total for thermostat housing replacement and both valve cover gaskets is very reasonable.

Thanks.
