Hello everyone new hear and in despair just replaced clutch and slave no problems installing the shifter thought I over tightened it because it spun on the little shaft went in to gear no problem so went pick n pull right down the street they had a ranger the pulled the arm that sits in the transmission the shifter attaches to pit it in my truck tried to shift locked up pulled it back out thats when I saw the parts are just alike except on the bottom of said arm theres a paddle shape on original part it faces one way on the pick n pull part it faces the other way so I reinstalled the original part and it still locked up cant get it to go in any gear any help would be appreciated sorry for the long winded explanation

My QUICK response is, attempt to move the shift handle and have someone rock the vehicle back and forth.
Try to move the shift handle in the opposite direction you moved it when it got stuck, if you remember.

Are you sure the clutch is actuating fully when you depress the pedal, sometimes when the truck is running, the trans can slip in gear with only partial clutch actuation, maybe having the engine running AND your foot on the clutch when attempting to rock the vehicle and disengage the trans gears.

Good Luck
