I know its normal to shudder at first but it does it exactly every 5 seconds... at night u can see the lights dimmer every time it shudders. It sits at 1 thou rpm then dropps to 500 rpm when it shudders then automaticlly returns to normal idle and does this every 5 F*$Kin seconds! Todays sunday hoping i dont have to take it to the on monday. I got basecare warranty but doubting they will use it prob charge me 50 hrs of labor to find the problem

 

Could be a problem with the A/C compressor.
The compressor will cycle on in all hvac positions except floor and vent.
Unplug the connector going to the A/C compressor clutch and see if it helps.

The ac compressor was low on freeon and the compressor was cycling on for the defrost and since it was low on freeon it cycled off in order to protect the compressor... thats what the biondi said and it still does it every once in a while not every 5 seconds. Only bad thing is that i ended up payin 130 bucks for 12dollars of freeon Aint that bull****
