Icon5 Intake Manifold Gasket/Intake Manifold

Hey guys,
I've got a 94 4.0 and I noticed lately that I have been leaking coolant/water. Didn't think much of it until I drove to work today, and when I parked, I noticed smoke from under the hood. Drove it into my shop(where I work at) and had my techs look at it.
It was leaking water and pressurizing from where the intake manifold gasket and the intake manifold meet. It's just on the corner there and I also noticed that my EGR tube burned up from the heat(not sure how long it was actually gone for) and I have to replace my Y shaped adapter for that.
Anyway, I couldn't drive my car home due to overheating, and I was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem, and if so, is it just the gasket or am I looking at replacing the whole intake manifold.

Any answers or insight into this would really really help me. I really appreciate it!

Was it spilling over at the coolant overflow tank?

He did a pressure test on the coolant from the top, and it was spewing out on the corner of the gasket.
No, it had no affect on the reservoir.

You may just need to replace the lower intake gasket then. I can't imagine that it would do anything to the lower intake manifold.

That's what my techs keep saying. I'm picking up the parts tomorrow(Intake Gasket, Uppers and Valve Covers, Thank god for knowing people in parts, Saves me hellllla money) but I love my truck. So I want it to run right, and good.
Any other ideas?

No, not really. I did head gaskets on my 4.0 and replaced all those gaskets. One night I went to the gas station and it "puked" coolant. I don't know if it had too much coolant in it or what but it never overheated, didn't find any leaks, and hasn't done it since.

If it is coming from where the lower intake manifold and head meets it's probably just the lower intake manifold gasket. I had a 1992 and a 1996 both do this. It's a pretty easy fix, just takes a little time and all it required was the gaskets. Good luck.
