Hello!

I am brand new to the forum and I have some questions about a swap I'm trying to do. I have a 1989 302 5.0L V8 from an F-150 and want to swap it into my 1993 Ranger that's 4x4, I figured out that I need a lot of parts from a 1995 Explorer because those parts are easier to work with in my Ranger. I was curious what all I will need aside from the basic Transmission, Radiator, Transfer Case(?), and I plan on keeping it EFI. Can I get some advice on what else I need from some more seasoned folks here?

To get a transmission from an Explorer it will need to be 96 - 01, the only years with a 5.0

Not sure, but I don't think the PCM/ECU to run your 89 5.0 will run the 96 - 01 Explorer transmission.
