1997 5.0 putting in a 1999 ranger
yes it can be done. If you will search other threads on this site you will see that it has been done several times. I am actually doing one similar myself as we speak . It is a 94 mazda b3000 and I am using a 96 explorer
you need to research as much as possible before spending a dime or you will kick yourself. I don't have the links but there are several kits available including oil pans , motor mounts n radiators and many more items . My suggestion to you would be spend some time on this and other ranger forums on the v8 conversions section and you will find all you need I have been researching for mine for 4 months and I have not yet ordered an electrical manual yet. I am still researching which will be the best
