Fraudulent electonics company deceptive wording
Hey guys,
I know of company that is ripping people off left and right because of their deceptive wording.
Basically when you go to buy a stereo or speakers it says "Available … ships at a later date" when in reality they don't even have the product to sell. In other words they're selling a product that doesn't exist. And in case you're wondering … yes, they do take the money out of your bank account or credit card right away.
People wait for weeks and weeks without receiving their product and then they finally call the company (Sonic Electronix) and find out that the product was never in stock to begin with.
It kind of sounds like a Ponzi scheme to me, because they are drawing all the interest off of people's money while they think they bought something and it's also a form of theft by deception.
My friend that works for Sonic Electronix has told them numerous times that the said wording needs to be removed, but they just tell him that it's a "marketing strategy"
#1. Who can I report this to and #2 Has anyone on the Ranger Forums ever been scammed by this company?

Yes, report them and review them where ever you can
Its not at all uncommon now-a-days with internet sites to advertise hard to get parts as 'available' when they are not
Also if price seems "to good to be true" then it is, lol
And use the reviews first so you don't have to post the bad review afterwards, lol
If you can't find reviews then walk away

I purchased a 8 inch Rockford Fosgate powered subwoofer enclosure from them (Sonic Electronixs)in June, I got it almost 5 months later. I called twice and was always told that it was going to ship next week. I guess I at least my product
Your bank would also like to know about things like this, just save the paper trail.
If this keeps on and enough people have proof, a bank will pull the privilege's and that will be it for them with no method payment.
Same goes for PayPal too.

It almost make me wonder if Nat Victor (the owner of the company) is paying certain people off to get away with ripping people off like this.
And B.T.W. My friend just got fired the other day by his supervisor there because he would not let the customers cuss him out and harass him. The Supervisor is now telling his workers to just sit there and take the abuse.
Thank you for writing a bad review. We all need to get the word out on fraudulent companies like Sonic.
