I need some new speakers

I need some new speakers and wanted to see what you guys think. I think I am going to go with components and these are the ones im thinking about getting.

http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/alpinespr-17s.aspx

What do you guys think about those? Any of you hear them before?

My birthday is coming up and I may ask for speakers if i find ones I like that aren't over $100. That means I wont be getting the ones above if I do, so what do you guys suggest?

Ohh and this is for my chevy so I need 6 1/2" or 6 3/4" speakers.
The amp I'm going to be using to power these is a Kicker KX800.2

I have been considering those but was kinda looking for components. I might end up getting those anyway.

Anybody else have any suggestions?

I've heard great things about the Infinity components, STL has the Alpine components, you can ask him about them.

I actually may get the Infinity Reference 6020cs. I found a place that I can get them for under $100.
