my new system plans...
putting a 300.2 on 2 12"s is not a very smart idea. your getting a grand total of 150 watts per sub.. i wouldnt even put that on the mtx 4500 series... for the cvr's you are interested in i would go a minimum of 200 watts persub.. getting a mono block is your best bet, you will then need to parallel the subs together. that setup will give you the max performance of both the amp and the subs. as for your box it comes down to sound prefernece. if your looking for a deep low bass then ported is the way to go... if you want a punchy bass then you may want to check into sealed. MAJORITY of people are partial to a ported box because it is louder sounding, your best bet would be to try to hear both and see what suits you better.

well his have worked flawless for 5 years and to me that says it's good. he can plays everything from chimara and fearfactory to the string quartet to TI and swisha house and it all sounds amazing. he has his on half bass boost and some other settings and yea. anyway, if its 150 per sub then so be it. he had his done at bestbuy and i think they know a thing or two :-). i plan on my 450.2 still.
haha. i didnt mean to insult you. if i did!! LOL i actually prefer circuitcity. i got ripped off when i got my first head unit. they scratched my bezel all up hence why im painting it. but they did recommend a damn good system for a friend and it hits hard. so if it is only 150(which anyone is saying) then so be it but it sure as hell doesnt sound like it. sounds more like 300 per sub. anyway. yea, i found a better amp for cheaper than the other one. this should work but if not then i will buy another one and return the other. no biggie. i wish i could work at CC. i love that store. good day
haha no i wasnt offended i just didnt want to see you wasting your money... the thing about underpowering a system isnt always the sound quality...it will wear the voice coils away faster..im just trying to save you tie and money in the long run...yea CC is a pretty awesome job, you should apply at the one near you... you can have fun and get crazy discounts at the same time!!
i jsut dont tihnk it will be under powered. i think if my buddies with the two 12"s and 300.2 amp wasnt enough after 5 years, that it would have shown up by now but it still hits jsut as hard as day one. this is all bday stuff and mom already ordered it. installed over tgiving break. if i dont like ill return it.
