I hate theft :(
Alpine will NOT dissapoint you. If you want the best in sound quality, from a name that the industry trusts, go with Alpine.
Why best buy? Why not get it off e-bay or any other online retailer? You don't have to pay retail price on anything when there is a wholesale market out there just waiting. I'd still buy from crutchfield instead of best buy anyday.
I'd get the Alpine CDA-9825

The CDA-9827 adds MP3 capability, if 259.99 isn't too much.

Both of the above have 18w RMS internal amplifiers (50w max) Is about as powerful as the ford MP3's players, and just a smidge less powerful than the CD6. But quality is leaps and bounds over Ford's stereos.
3 pairs of 4 volt pre-outs (good if you ever add External amplifiers)
Both have great Radio sensitivity (picking up low powered stations) and awesome CD Signal to noise radio (makes your CD's play loud!)
Industry's best MP3 player (on the 9827) the smallest pause inbetween tracks, compared to any other MP3 player of any other brand. You need a car PC to do better.
Good thing about crutchfield, orders over 199 have free shipping.
No sales tax, depending on the state you're in.
ALL the equipment and install parts are included for free.
Warranty and return policy CANNOT BE BEAT, even by best buy who will want to sell you an extended service plan warranty.

I think he gets a refund for his old radio because it was under the bestbuy extended warrenty.. So he has to use his credit at bestbuy?
Thats how I read it.
I've used pioneers before and never had and problem with em.
If you listen to fm radio they seem to have alot better tuner than any factory radio i've had.

I put a Pioneer in my moms mazda miata...for us youngins, it is pretty easy to use, but my parents still dont know how to work it and have a hard time with the small preset buttons. But, It is a very nice headunit for the price. Its been in for a little over a year now and still works perfect!

I have had very good luck with the JVC. I currently have two units one going on 6years old that I just installed in my systers '05 Escape an a Arsenal series deck that I upgraded to a few months ago not a single problem either of them.
P.S. if their is someone that has a JVC headunit and got the PiCT software can you PM me please
