Coil cyl numbers 02 2.3 vin d

I m a tech. A tech at another shop said it was a weard Order. I tried Google and tried several orders . A traverse engine stated for vin d still skipped , but it doesn't show orientation of coil . I got this from customer that did a tune up without diag for a skip. Alldata didn't even show the coil. Thanks for any help. I want to get correct order to find the skip. Customer replaced coil wires plugs.

Firing order for most 4cyl engines is 1 3 4 2, it has to be because of the way they are balanced
2.3l Duratec is most engines

As for the coil pack, the 3 wire connector determines the order of the spark plug wires
2 ---3
.......Connector
4---1

Have a look here: https://static.summitracing.com/glob...g544_oh_ml.jpg

The 3 wire connector..................then follow the numbering shown
Doesn't matter which way the engine sits, the 3 wire connector determines spark plug wire order on the coil pack, all Ford coil packs are this way, 4cyl, 6cyl, 8 cyl, the connector is the key
