I recently purchased a 2006 ranger for next to nothing from a customer at my garage, the automatic transmission in it is shot to hell.
Im looking to swap the bad transmission out for a 5spd as i honestly prefer it over auto and i wanna know how much im gonna need to swap in order to achieve that.

parts wont be a issue (im friends with the local junkyard, my daily has its fair share of the finest parts they have to offer)
im also quite experienced with the mechanical aspect (i work in a garage)

ive got the time and the patience to do it i just dont know what ill need for parts, what wont be compatible etc etc.
i havent done it myself and i dont know anybody who has so ive turned to you fellas
