Hi all,

I'm facing a problem on my Ranger 3.2 Auto Gearbox. Randomly the gearbox light will come on and the car seems to go into limp mode and will also loose drive. Seems to go into neutral. It will clunk when shifting gears.

Other symptoms are also: the speedometer will not work anymore and go down to 0 even if the vehicle is moving and the digital display that shows the miles left in the tank will start increasing. Eg. If I have 150 miles left it will start going up.

Unfortunately I do not have access to good techs here so seeking help from some guru!

You have an International Ford Ranger also called a T6 Ranger.

We don't have that type of Ford Ranger in North America, ours were smaller and had different engines and transmissions.
