I got a 1998 With the 3.0 and automatic trans iv been trying to get the 4x4 to work for a few weeks now, 4x4 used to work then I parked it for about 2 years and now its working intermittently. When the key is on engine off I can hear the t-case shift motor working along with the lights on the dash then when I start the engine the 4x4 will work for about 5 seconds then ill hear a click and the 4x4 and dome light will cut out, turn the vehicle back off then the key on and the t-case shift motor and dome light will work again untill I start the truck. And every once and a while while driving I can get the 4x4 to work it seams like it just has a mind of its own. Any help would be great, thanks in advance.
