5r55e temp sensor port?

Quick question, where on a 5r55e/44e do you put the temp sensor for an aftermarket gauge? Ive had the guage for years but finally decided to install it since im taking a 2,000 mile trip in a month. Be nice to keep an eye on the trans temp. I have an second cooler so it should be fine but better safe than sorry.

The Lower of the 2 trans cooler lines on the transmission is the OUT to cooler, so it would have warmest fluid

The 5R44E/55E has a trans fluid temp(TFT) sensor inside, most OBD readers can now display this PID, if you enter it in manually, some can't

Some people add a bung to the pan to install temp sensor, this would be the temp of fluid RETURNED from the cooler
