IFS LSD Front diff. I know where we can get them made.
Well like the title says. The place that can make them for us is called Peloquin Transaxles. This shop has been building diffs for FWD VW cars for years now. Here is a link to there website http://peloquins.com/ . So I spoke with the owner this morning and asked him if he could do it. Well at first he was not sure if it could be done. Well I told him that TORSEN has made prototypes, but has been toying the public around for years. As soon has he heard that he told me that he would need pictures of the diff installed and out of the housing. Also all of the measurements we can get of the diff and where it mounts up to the ring gear. After he looks over the pics and measurements he can get an idea on price.
The owner told me there will be a min. order of 30 for him to produce it. After that there will be more to go over and he will need a whole front diff to build a prototype so he can measure off of. I don't have a front diff to send to him but if someone else does then all we need is 29 more people and we get our front LSD.
If anybody has any pics or measurement they could post that would be a big help. As soon as I get all the info he needs we can see if he can make it and get an idea of how much.
If you want you can go to http://www.vwvortex.com/ and do a search for LSD or Peloquin diffs. You will see that he makes a very good product. So if anybody has anything fo use please speak up. Thanks Joey

Lockers can put double the maximum torque through the light duty Ranger front half shafts compared to open or LS diffs. Owners break them often enough with the factory diff.
For those who live in areas with a winter season, a limited slip is much more street friendly for using 4x4 in the snow. The same is true for use on high traction, off road surfaces.

That hits the nail on the head on why i don't want a locker up front.
