My buddy has a wrecked 95 STX 3.0 5spd with a electric transfer case. Truck was wrecked a few weeks ago with only 54K miles.

My question is, will his transmission and transfer case swap right into mine?

My trans needs to be rebuilt and my transfer case can't have much time left either.

Yeah should work fine. They aren't all universal as '01+ needs to stay '01+. And 4x4 needs to stay with a 4x4. But what you're trying to do should be just fine.

I have a 2008 ranger sport. It has an automatic but i want to put a manual transmission in it. Its a 2wd. What all would i need to do that? And about how much will it cost?

From what I read he had some trouble with the PATS system. Not sure if an 08 has PATS.
