auto trans n rear end swap
hello guys I have 2 questions first, will a rear end out of a 1995 ford explorer 4.0, 4-wheel drive fit my 2003 Mazda B3000 3.0, 2 wheel drive pick up 2nd question is will the auto trans out of a 1995 explorer 4-wheel drive fit in my 2003 MazdaB3000 2-wheel drive pick up my brother 1995 explorer 4-wheel drive got wrecked and I,m going to need to replace my trans and rear end in my 2003 Mazda B3000 2-wheel drive please keep in mind the 1995 explorer has a 4.0 eng. and is 4-wheel drive the 2003 Mazda has a 3.0 eng. and is a 2-wheel drive, thanks for any help offered

No and no
Trans first, the Explorers never came with 3.0l engine, which is what you have in a B3000, so trans can not be bolted to 3.0l engine and a 4WD transmission can only be used with a transfer case, no adapters for either
Explorer Rear axle has leaf spring perches on the bottom of the axle, Ranger/B-series have them on the top, so not "bolt in"
You can weld spring perches to the top side
You can run the springs under the axle and use the existing perches, but it will lower the rear of your truck 4 ", some like that, up to you
Best bet is to sell the 4.0l Trans/transfer case and rear axle, use that money to buy or rebuild B3000 trans and or rear axle
7.5" axle is fine for up to 300HP no real benefit switch to 8.8", but popular to do
