Rack and Pinion

hey guys i got a question, my truck is very slowly leaking power steering fluid, i looked underneath and on the passenger side the boot on the rack is ripped a bit, and its all wet with power steering fluid, i wanted to know if i could just fix the seal or woulda i have to replace the whole rack?

1999 ford ranger 3.0l v6

when mine was leaking, they replaced the whole thing. it was under warranty. but they do make seal kits. found them for 20 something bucks on rock auto.com. don't know how the actual procedure is done though.
