I thought some of you guys might find that thread interesting. Its being done on an Explorer, but the frames the same up front for the most part. He is actually the guy I sold my RCD lift to back when I took it off.

reviving an old thread.....i think i might look into doing this. my rack is shot and this looks very feasible. plus it would make a sas go tons faster if this were done beforehand

however, i dont like how he put the steering box on the inside. i dont know how he got it to fit. AND he is putting a 5.0 in there. you think this would work by using a steering box that goes on the outside of the frame? maybe like a 2wd chevy ifs setup...

loaded for me. i might go measure my buddies yota ifs setup and see how that would swap over. because that cant be too much of a difference in width compared to the rangers. yea itll be a little bit different but its got to be closer than what he pulled off that f150

after having that style stearing i would never want to sway to it. if i was someone else the parts wear out and the stearing gets really sloppy

you can barely get the yota box on the outside where you want it on a SAS. Let alone on the inside.

yea, i think i might see if i can use a chevy 2wd box. it lays flax instead of sticking up and might be able to lay along the frame better than the yota box.

Kevan has an Isuzu one inside the frame.
