im ready to spend the money for my truck. I just want some acceleration back. i was looking at 4.88 but i guess that might be a little exesive.
i have a 4x4 so 4.30 is not a option.
its too bad i cant try both out before buying. anyone live close to quebec city canada. haha

Hey Christian I'm in the same boat. I just put 32's on my '06 with 4.10s and it's pretty doggy with all the hills here. I think I'll wait until the rear needs servicing (i assume it has clutch packs that wear like my mustangs 8.8) and then put some 4.56s in. My brakes also need an upgrade, they're noticeably slower to bring me to me to a stop. My gas mileage seems to have stayed around 16 city.

everyones gas milage is directly related to how you drive and i think people forget about that. nice and easy acceleration and proper shifting is gonna get you better gas mileage. we drive trucks not race cars........ but 4.88 gears would be nice

right now i have 265/75/16s and my highway is pretty good... i can almost bust 200 out of a half tank driving at 65-70. Around town HA 130 with more than a half. Once the 295/75/16s go on i kno not to expect good milage.

i would say if your honestly worried about fuel then why look at 33's?

I would say i lost about 1 - 3 mpg depending on driving habits with 33x12.5 over my 31x10.5 of the same tire.
