I always love this question....
But I think everyone overlooked something...
You have the 7.5 listed in your sig - if that is the correct one , RIP that little toy out and opt for something worth putting money into and upgrade it from there.... I wouldn't put a dime into that one, at a minimum pick up and 8.8 or find a Dana 44 ( from a Jeep YJ - TJ ) or if you don't mind full width get a 9" . Don't flush your money down the 7.5 - its not worth it....

Good point! I didn't notice that one either! I agree on the above about the 7.5....

Everything I was talking about is related to the 8.8.

yea about that...my old one was toast (came out in pieces) and before i knew anything about rear ends and that you could get a larger one with disc brakes from an explorer i had already bought a 2008 rear 7.5 with 15k on it from my mechanic. totally upset about it now. guess ill jus manage
