would it be possible to put a lock right on a rear axle 8.8" limited slip?

I think they make a no-slip (same company) that can be installed on a LS. Doing a little research (looking not just asking) will find you results. However, I have heard bad things about those and recommend finding an open dif and putting a lockrite in that.

It's my understanding that the Lock Right will only install on an open differential, not a L/ S unit.

look up the applications on the powertrax website for a 28 spline 8.8, i know they make one if not both (lock-right and no-slip) lockers that fit in a L/S 8.8 carrier.
