New Manual Hubs

Wanting to buy some new manual hubs for my 2000 Ford Ranger to replace the stock PVH 4wd. I’ve read good things about WARN and Rugged Ridge brands. Any advice or different options on which to pick?

1998 to 2000 Rangers can only use Rugged Ridge/AVM manual hubs
Warn hubs were for 1997 and earlier Rangers

So not really any choice, but the Rugged Ridge/AVM manual hubs are good and do hold up over time

No, AVM is a Brazilian Company that makes 4x4 hubs for international vehicles mostly.

Product list here: Products AVM

Their 470 model fits our 1998-2000 North American Rangers

And they were also sold here as Rugged Ridge, same model just branded for Rugged Ridge, an Atlanta, Georgia company that sells 4x4 parts: http://www.ruggedridge.com/

Warn industries is based in Oregon, and makes locking hubs for earlier model Rangers, 1997 and earlier, but never made any for 1998-2000 model Rangers
2001 and up Ranger 4x4s were full time locked hubs, no unlock available, Ford called it "Live Axle", just FYI
