first Sorry for my ignorance but I have a stupid question jeje :p
I have a 2.8 power stroke tdi ( tgv) and the gears go like this :

What the "D" means ?
I now that works like a 5 gear but why the " D" an not a "5"

They're the same...just drive it

 

yeah lol its like an auto with D then d with a circle then 2 and 1. Which basically means 1,2,3,4. Its over drive.
