Rear driveshafts orientation
Rear driveshafts orientation
i have a 1995 ranger ext cab 4x4, 4.0 and std trans. I recently replace the hanger bearing and all 3 u-joints on the rear shafts. I have a slight vibration at 80 km/h and I’m thinking it’s due to not marking the shafts properly before disassembly. ( lesson learned ). My question is what is the orientation of the yokes on both shafts in relation to each other. Do they all line up? Even if someone could take a pic of their driveshafts that would be awesome!
Thanks in advance

Drive shaft is balanced independently.
You should mark orientation before removal simply to put u-joints back in the same place, since you changed u-joints then marking wouldn't have mattered
Your hanger bearing may have worn out because drive shaft was already going out of balance
Google: how to balance a driveshaft with hose clamps
This will first check that it is out of balance, the vibration you feel, or that it is from a tire or other issue.
