I got a 94 Ranger 4.0 5spd and it got stuck in 4x4 Low tonight. The 4x4 and low-range indicators on the dash aren't on, nor are the indicators on the buttons themselves. I tried to refresh the computer by reconnecting the battery and that didn't work.

 

Seems like my touch drive system is broken if anyone knows any way to help? I looked through my owner's manual and didn't find anything to fix it.

 

Level ground, chock your wheels, remove and support the transfer case's motor (leaving it plugged in) and try changing it through 2WHI, 2WLOW, 4WLOW to see if it's working.
