thinking bout changing 4x2 to 4x4 help

hey guys,
i have a 99 ford ranger 3.0 2wd and i wanna make it 4wd i know it expensive but it will take time. i was thinking maybe a solid axle 4wd and im kinda new with 4wd can anyone tell me what is all required and where i can get this stuff

If you are kind of new then you can't do an SAS. Also an SAS is really for serious offroading. I would just sell the 2wd truck for a 4wd truck.

thought about it but i would rather do it to my truck than just buying a 4wd thats no fun and i wanna learn

why not play around a bit with your 2wd. you can still learn alot from it

Can't do the swap on a coil sprung truck unless you SAS it.
