flank drive snap on socket might work.. 13mil.. or a easy out, few long extensions and a universal joint adaptor works pretty swell

i pulled the engine out of my 05 in july and that top bolt isa total mother fvcker to get to. i would probably unbolt the cab next time and jack it up if i were to round off the bolt head

yeah i just swapped my tranny, if i didnt have a body lift i would have had a terrible time. if its your last resort lifting up the cab on one side might be a pretty good idea.

my give a s*** ran out, so I towed it to the shop. There is a reason I chose finance over turning wrenches lol. I'm surprised i didn't let any wrenches fly around the neighborhood.-$350.00

i just yanked my tranny (3.0L 5 spd) on my 02 ranger edge and i was able to get the impact on every belhousing bolts the ones above the tranny i used a bunch of extensions but they all came out nicely. I couldnt even get the exhaust down but i did get the tranny out lol. The flanges at the manifold came off no problem but some jackass along the years changed the muffler and welded it all as one solid part. Grrr. I am pretty sure all my belhousing bolts were 15mm not 13's
