Tranny Question

When I start to pull away from a stop light for a second or 2 it feels as if my truck is in neutral. I can feel it when it grabs. I don't hear a clunk sound but thats kind of what it feels like. Is this normal ? Thanks for any info. Fred

Sounds like your tranny is slipping. You should flush it and adjust the bands.

This sounds like it could be a binding slip yoke, common on Rangers. Read these threads and compare to your problem.

So I guess it won't hurt anything to just drive it that way, if grease is just a temporary fix.
