Are the valve body from a 1999 4r44e 3.0 and a 1999 4.0 the same?

Hello, I have a 1999 U6 XLT Ranger that I got for a couple hundred dollars. The engine seemed to be run fine. Problem was that the transmission was bad and the guy didn't want to bother more on it. The truck came with the original transmission, a used one he had gotten which turns out to be for a 4.0, and a third transmission which seems to be the right one. Through some research I found out that 2nd one doesn't align correctly on the 3.0 truck and so he gave up. Now, I plan on rebuilding the old one after realizing the 3rd one is no good. However when I opened the 4.0 one, it looked brand new. The inside parts of the other 2 clearly have signs of use and wear but the 4.0 one looks new and clearly barely used. Since the internals are basically the same, I was planning on using those parts on the 3.0 trans case while the rebuild kit arrived. However, would changing out the valve body work? They seem to be the same and the wires are all in the same spot. I don't quite need it to run perfect or forever with the parts swap. I just want to test the truck and make sure it's worth rebuilding the trans. Any help or advice will be appreciated 👍🙏
This is on the 4.0.

If memory serves me right, if you pull the front pump out, you can swap bellhousings.

Put your 3.0 bellhousing on the 4.0 transmission.

I see, I will take a look at them later just to confirm that's the difference. Than you. However, the 4r44e 4.0 has two extra sensors on the side where the 16 pin connector is at and the 3.0 doesn't have those 2 sensors. Will this be an issue? The wire is snipped the the sensor and the sensors are just bolted on to cover the holes for now. Can I just install it and ignore those 2 sensors on the transmission?
These are the two extra sensors on the 4.0
