if i run some 31's with my stock gears with open diffs will my tranny f-up?

Yes, but it will f-up if you do nothing anyway, so you might as well...

Seriously though, 31's aren't so different than 29's that it will be the biggest deal. How hard to you beat it on a day-to-day basis? If you're already ragging it pretty hard, then it might be the "last straw", lol...

its basicly my dd i drive it 50-70 miles a day..its a street ***** and never sees dirt

you will only be hurrying the inevitable. Eventually your tranny is going to go. Now the question is do you want it to go with 29's or 31's. The 31's will look nicer. Really you shouldn't kill that tranny too much sooner unless you are punching it constantly and trying to burn out and so forth.

im pretty much a slow driver i only go 65-70 on freeway..idont punch it at all..humm i want 31's..how i should be getting a new rear end in like 6 months from now..so ill only be running the 31's for 4-6 months..what u think should i do it?..or even better would you yourself do it?
